Jump Conveyor («grasshopper») is an inclined transfer conveyor featuring a trussed frame, wheel-mounted chassis, conveyor module, feed and transfer hoppers, and optional accessories such as conveyor belt covers, telescopic loading chutes, and hydraulic boom lift systems. Each unit is equipped with an automated control package and sensor suite for real-time monitoring of process parameters.
Designed for towing relocation, jump conveyors are used to feed bulk materials into the hoppers of downstream equipment within the process flow. They are commonly used as part of mobile stacking circuits, such as heap leach pad construction. When arranged in series, jump conveyors enable sequential transfer of bulk materials from one unit to the next and can efficiently replace fixed conveyor runs.
